Crispy Chilli Beef
A bold and delicious crispy chilli beef fakeaway topped with peppers, spring onions and sesame seeds. Inspired by @georgiaskitchen_ and ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 180–200g beef strips
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 spring onion, chopped (extra for topping)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2–3 tbsp Mayflower Chilli & Black Bean Sauce
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp salt & chilli seasoning
- Low-cal oil spray
To Serve:
- Air-fried chips seasoned with salt & chilli
- Spring rolls
- Mayflower Chinese curry sauce

Method
- Toss the beef strips in salt & chilli seasoning and cornflour until fully coated.
- Air fry at 190°C for 12–15 minutes until crispy, shaking halfway. Or pan fry in a non-stick pan until browned and crisp.
- In a hot pan, stir-fry the sliced red peppers for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the crispy beef back into the pan. Pour in the Chilli & Black Bean Sauce and toss for 1–2 minutes until coated and sticky.
- Plate up the crispy chilli beef and peppers. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
- Serve with salt & chilli chips, spring rolls and warm curry sauce.
